These options may provide you with the help you need more quickly.
How to request a Doctor’s appointment
- for new Adult medical requests – Use the Adult Online Form or the NHS App

- If you are unable to complete the form yourself, and have no one to assist you, then a member of our reception team can help you to complete the form. This can be done over the phone or in person. We treat all requests in the same way, no matter how you contact us. Once we've reviewed your request, we'll contact you during surgery hours.

Need healthcare advice without seeing a GP? Minor Illnesses - Digital Triage
You might not need a GP appointment — your local pharmacy could help instead, and you might see someone much faster.
With the Pharmacy First service, pharmacists can offer expert advice and suggest treatments that don’t require a prescription and provide prescription-only medicines for certain conditions, without the need to see a GP or book an appointment.

Patients are now able to refer themselves to a Pharmacy for minor illnesses, such as:
- Acute otitis media - 1 to 17 years
- Impetigo - 1 year and over
- Infected insect bites - 1 year and over
- Shingles - 18 years and over
- Sinusitis - 12 years and over
- Sore throat - 5 years and over
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infections - Women 16-64 years
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals and can offer clinical advice and medicines for all sorts of minor ailments, with a same day consultation at a time that suits you.

Help during your appointment
When you request an appointment, please tell us if you need specific help, for example:
- if you cannot come to the surgery
- if you need an interpreter
- or if you have any other access or communication needs
Cancel an appointment
If you cannot come to your appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible so that we can help another patient. You can cancel an appointment:
- by following the link in the appointment confirmation
- through the NHS app
- calling the practice on 01784 730580, and use the automated cancelling system, or speak with a staff member
Urgent advice: Call 111 if you need urgent advice
NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do. To get help:

Medical emergencies can include:
- loss of consciousness
- an acute confused state
- fits that are not stopping
- chest pain
- breathing difficulties
- severe bleeding that cannot be stopped
- severe allergic reactions
- severe burns or scalds
